Corn Honey Select- Yellow
Harvest in: 79 days As 2001’s AAS Winner, it was applauded by the AAS judges both for taste and ease of growth. One of the best corns for the home gardener or market farmer. Eight to 8½ inch ears on plants eight feet tall have 18 to 20 rows of tender, crunchy, sweet kernels with that old-fashioned corn taste. Taste and texture hold several days after being picked.

Growing guide
- Sowing
Direct sow corn seeds in fertile soil and full sun directly in the garden when the soil has warmed to at least 70°F and nighttime temps do not dip below 60°F. Plant 1 to 2 inches deep and cover with soil. Sow seeds around 3 inches apart, in rows 24 to 36 inches apart.
- Thinning
When plants are 5 inches tall, thin to 10 inches apart. Corn is wind-pollinated and crowded plants may not produce full ears.
- Germination
8 to 15 days depending on soil temperature and weather conditions.
