- Sowing
Plant seeds outdoors after all danger of frost is past, in rich, well-prepared soil. Plant seed very thinly in rows 18 inches apart and cover seed with ¼ inch of soil, well pressed down.
- Thinning
Thin to 8 inches apart when plants are 2 inches tall.
- Germination
Germinates in 4 to 10 days depending on soil and weather conditions.
- Remarks
Do not allow the plants to exhaust themselves by going to seed. New plants should be started, or the old plants should be divided.
