Growing guide
- Sowing
Sow seed outdoors when all danger of frost is past and the ground is warm. Plant 3 to 5 seeds in each hill, with hills spaced 6 to 10 feet apart each way. Cover with 1/2 inch of fine soil, well pressed down.
- Thinning
When plants are 3 to 4 inches tall, thin to 3 or 4 strongest plants per hill.
- Germination
10 to 14 days depending on soil and temperature conditions.
- Remarks
Cut from vines with pruning shears leaving 3 inches of stem.
